Are you the first in your family to attend college (meaning that neither of your parents have a bachelors degree)? Do you have less than 20 college level credits? Then the First Generation Student Success (FGSS) Program is the perfect support program for you!

Every student receiving services through FGSS is assigned their own personal educational generalist, advisor and advocate, called an Educational Case Manager. The Educational Case Manager provides support and assistance with the goal of helping students to succeed in college. A holistic approach is used, providing direct access or referrals for a wide spectrum of services aimed at ensuring that students and their families have the personal, emotional, financial, and academic stability and resources they need to focus on being successful in college.

If you are interested in becoming a participant in FGSS, please complete the CCD admissions application and then call us for an intake/eligibility appointment.
