2) You must apply to CCD first (the link to the online application is at: Student application and registration site- this is free.
3) You will receive a student ID from the college emailed to whatever email address you provide in your application.
4) CCD must have a record of any prior college transcripts (from an accredited college). TRANSCRIPTS MUST HAVE THE COLLEGE NAME AND YOUR NAME CLEARLY INDICATED ON THEM. COPIES OF OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPTS ARE THE BEST CHOICE. Transcript evaluations are used to determine whether you:
have met college level pre-requisites for the course(s) you want to take, or
have completed basic pre-college Math, English, or Reading courses (ACT, SAT or Accuplacer scores from another institution can be used to determine your placement status)
If you do not have any prior college experience, you must take the Accuplacer test at CCD Assessment Center (South Classroom Bldg, Room 223) or at another approved location. You might also have to take the Accuplacer test if your college credits are more than 10 years old AND you did not receive a degree. If taking these tests away from CCD, your scores must be submitted to our Assessment Center. These scores will indicate whether or not you need pre-college English, Math or Reading courses. 5) If you are an out of state/out of-area student taking ONLY ONLINE courses with CCD, complete your exemptions for immunization. Go to: Certificate of Immunization or Exemption If you need help completing this form, click on this link: Sample Certificate Requesting Exemption from Immunization . The items written in red are what you need to put on your form. There are three other forms you need to complete as well: Meningitus, TB and the AHEC campus Immunization form.
Mail to: Auraria Immunization Office, Campus Box 15, P.O. Box 173362, Denver, CO 80217-3362 OR hand deliver by dropping them in the blue immunization drop box outside of the Health Center at Auraria’s front door located in the Plaza Building, room 150. You can also fax it to our office at 303-474-7148.
NOTE - if you have already applied, but have not yet sent your transcripts and you wish to enroll for classes beginning soon, please:
A) Fax a copy of unofficial/official transcripts from all accredited colleges you've attended to Online Learning at On your cover sheet, include:
B) If you have digital copies of your transcripts, email them to us at ccd_online_learning@ccd.edu along with the above information. PLEASE do all you can to make sure your transcripts are going to be legible when we receive them. Dark colored backgrounds make your courses particularly diffiicult to read. Remember- the college name and your name must be clearly in evidence on the transcript.
Our department will forward your transcripts to the appropriate departments here at the college.
