The Office of Student Life at Community College of Denver is committed to enhancing the college experience of CCD students by involving students in co-curricular programs, cultural experiences, leadership training and community building.
One of the ways in which these goals are met is through the creation and support of Student Clubs. At CCD students are encouraged to explore opportunities outside of the classroom that support their academic development and growth as individuals. Student Clubs at CCD are designed to promote these experiences.
Student Clubs at Community College of Denver are vital to campus life. Students are encouraged to create clubs that are of interest to them. They have a personal investment in hobbies and outside activities often make the best clubs!
The Office of Student Life believes that Student Clubs and activities should encourage involvement by all CCD students regardless of sex, race, age, religion, sexual orientation, or nationality.

Becoming an officially recognized Student Club at the
Community College of Denver is easy. Simply complete 4 easy to follow steps. If you need help or have questions, please stop by the Office of Student Life in the Tivoli Student Union, Room 309 during normal business hours or call 303.556.2597.
4 Easy Steps toward recognition as a Student Club
1. Submit an Official Recognition Form each fall semester.
2. Create and keep an updated club constitution.
3. Elect club officers.
4. Have one officer and advisor attend a Club Orientation and a Leadership Training session each semester.

Leadership Course
PSY 289/ Leadership Development (Capstone)
Studies and applies the theories and techniques of leadership and group processes. Students gain leadership skills and experience with applications in a group setting. Recommended Prerequisite: College Level reading and writing skills.
