ACCUPLACER WORKSHOPS

 

 
Free Group Information Sessions
 
The Accuplacer Workshops are free sessions for students thinking about taking, or re-taking, the Accuplacer test.
 
The workshops include general information about the test and hints on how to best prepare for test day.
 
The workshop also provides a review of reading comprehension, sentence skills, and math using the Accuplacer Workbook as a guide. 
 
For students wanting a more long-term, intensive opportunity to improve their skills, the Accuplacer Prep Lab is the place to go.
 
Accuplacer Workshop Hours
There is no need to register for the workshop, just drop in. Space is limited however, please arrive early. 
 
Monday & Wednesday
3 p.m. - 5 p.m.
 
Friday
9 a.m. - 11 a.m.

Strengthen Your Skills
before you take the Accuplacer Placement Test!

It will help you place into higher-level classes, and you'll need to take fewer developmental classes.
You can:
  • Work independently to refresh or strengthen math skills before taking, or re-taking, the Accuplacer test.
  • Talk to a math tutor
  • Have unlimited access to the National Repository of Online Classes (NROC) to improve your math ability.
  • Access writing and reading tutors as well.

Accuplacer Prep Lab Hours
Drop in any time during the following hours:

10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Join the Accuplacer Prep Lab!
The $60.00 fee for the lab is good for the whole semester. You can come to the lab as often as you'd like. (Fee payable to the cashier; bring proof of payment to SO 215 to get started)
