Updates about the Higher One Account

REFUND PREFERENCE OPTIONS

Students have two different Refund Preference options:

• One Account Deposit: They can set up an account directly with HigherOne;  
• ACH Transfer: They can have the refund directly deposited into their current bank account within 2-3 business days.

As of now, there is no longer an option online to have a paper check mailed. If a student wants a Paper Check Mailed they:

1) do not activate their card or
2) do not choose a refund preference. Either option will result in a 21 business day period to process their refund check.

Students should go on https://denver.higheroneaccount.com/ to check their account balance before they start using their card.

ATM Is Up and Running!

The Higher One ATM is up and running in the South Classroom Lobby, ready for disbursal of refunds! The ATM is free if students use their CCCS Refund Card, but charges a $2.50 fee for other bankcards. It is set up to dispense increments of $50; if students want a smaller amount they can to press “Other Amt.” and put in multiples of $10.
