Important Dates

Today: New FAFSA for Fall 2013 through Summer 2014 is available at www.fafsa.gov. 

2013-2014 FAFSAs will be downloaded in April and students will be notified if additional information is needed.  Continuing students must check CCD email and submit requested documents to qualify for financial aid for the Fall 2013 semester.  Financial Aid forms for both 2012-2013 and 2013-2014 are available here:  http://www.ccd.edu/ccd.nsf/html/WEBB92CRCJ-Student+External+Forms.

IMPORTANT NOTIFICATION!
Effective Fall 2011, financial aid refunds will become available after Census Day.  Plan ahead now.  Students in Good Standing with a complete financial aid file with pending aid one month before the start of the semester may qualify for a book advance the week before spring classes begin.

January 1, 2013:  Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) available for Fall 2013, Spring and Summer 2014 at www.fafsa.gov.

April 15, 2013:  Priority deadline for Summer 2013 and Fall 2013 financial aid.  Students interested in work-study and scholarship applicants must have a complete file by this date to be considered for first-come, first-served funding for the 2013-2014 academic year.

April 21, 2013:  Last day to withdraw from a 15-week class.

May 1, 2013:  Deadline to submit spring requests, including spring Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) Appeals.

May 13, 2013:  Last day of Spring 2013 classes.

May 17, 2013:  Students must have a complete file in Financial Aid by this date to be considered for work-study for the 2013-2014 academic year.

May 18, 2013:  Grades available online.  Make sure you are making Satisfactory Academic Progress.

May 20, 2013:  First round of summer book advances available to qualifying students in Good Standing via HigherOne, after 3pm. 

May 27, 2013:  Memorial Day.  Campus closed.

May 28, 2013:  Summer classes start.  Deadline to submit a Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) Appeal to avoid summer financial aid being cancelled and being dropped from classes for non-payment.

June 7, 2013:  Summer census date.  Last day to drop a full semester class.

June 10, 2013:  Summer financial aid disbursed into qualifying students' CCD accounts.

June 17, 2013:  Summer Financial Aid refunds available via HigherOne, after 3pm.

July 8, 2013:  Loan refunds available via HigherOne for first-time loan borrowers and the second disbursement of summer only loans.
