Even under the current economic downturn, the demand for machinists and machine operators remains high. Those professions have made Manpower Inc's "Annual 10 Hardest Jobs to Fill" list in each of the past four years.
CCD is excited to have state-of-the-art machining equipment available for our students to learn-including MasterCAM and GibbsCAM.
The CCD Machining program provides you with hands on experience! CCD Machining students learn both in the machine shop and in the classroom, spending 68-270 hours a semester studying lathes, milling machines and/ or CNC machines. We offer six different certificates and degrees:
CNC Machine Tool Operator Certificate
Industrial Maintenance Technologies Certificate
Associate of Applied Sciences in CNC Management or Manufacturing
The Program Advisor for this program is Christine Smith Olsey. Please e-mail her at email@example.com if you have any questions or need clarification about this program.
