Lunch with Lawmakers features State Representative Lois Court

(Denver, CO) Lunch with Lawmakers Monthly Series features Colorado State Representative Lois Court on Tuesday, November 8, 12:30pm-1:30pm, Tivoli Student Union, 320S on the Auraria Campus.

Lois Court was elected to the Colorado House of Representatives as a Democrat in 2008.  Court represents House District 6, which encompasses portions of central Denver, Colorado.  She is a member of the Judiciary Committee and the State, Veterans, & Military Affairs Committee.

Rep. Court is currently an American Government and Political Science Adjunct Instructor at Red Rocks Community College.  She has managed a number of campaigns, including Doug Linkhart for Denver City Council and Andy Kerr for State Representative. She also served as Denver Mayor Wellington Webb’s Director of Administration in the General Services Department, Director of the Mayor’s Office of Volunteerism, and Director of the Mayor’s Office of Neighborhood Response.

Rep. Court has a Master of Public Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in English from CU Denver.
