Fuddy Meers hits the Boards at CCD, May 2-5

(Denver, CO.) Community College of Denver (CCD) Theater Department presents Fuddy Meers, a comedy by David Lindsay-Abaire. It tells the story of an amnesiac, Claire, who awakens each morning as a blank slate on which her husband and teenage son must imprint the facts of her life. The play culminates revelations, proving that everything is not what it appears to be.

Directed by Dr. j. nick dickert, CCD Assistant Professor of Theater, the ensemble cast includes CCD students:  Landin Melandez, Beau Flourney, Alex Arens, Mike Smith, Bruce Chubb, Keylee Anderson, Dylan Benkert, and Riane Elledge. Strongly committed to the development of new shows, dickert selected Fuddy Mears because of its strong script and comedic appeal.

Fuddy Meers will be performed in the Eugenia Rawls Theater in the Kenneth King Academic and Performing Arts Center on the Auraria Campus. The play runs May 2-5; showtime is 7:30p.m. Tickets for the show are $3 for students, $5 for faculty, and $7 for the general public, and are available at the King Center Box Office, call 303-556-2296. This play is not recommended for audiences under age 18.  Free parking is available in the 7th Street Garage.
