Welcome to the Online Learning Orientation!
Online learning is new to most of us, so
you are not alone if you are wondering if online classes are
right for you. The goal of this Orientation is to answer your
questions and to make you better prepared for the online classes
you decide to take.
Getting Around
Distinguishing features of this web site
include an Orientation menu in the sidebar to the left. A
menu consisting of other local web sites you may wish to access
appears on the site header and footer. Below the header, a
breadcrumb menu appears, enabling you to retrace your steps.
Outside links display in parts of the tutorial.
The linked web sites appear in a new browser window. To return
to the tutorial after using these links, simply close the
browser window.
Other than these features, this Orientation
web site is very similar to many other web sites. Next
and Back
buttons are available and are recommended for navigation.
Let´s Get Started
We recommend that your first time through,
you navigate through the Orientation by pressing the
Next
Arrow to go from screen to screen. This takes you through
in a step-by-step fashion. After you complete the Orientation,
use the menu in the left hand sidebar to revisit any topic
of your choice.
Just press Next
to begin. Get ready for an interactive web experience!
